Point No. 1.
“ There will be No Shirk in My ummah I fear only you will fell in duniya “, these are words of beloved Prophet Hazrat Syedina Muhammadar-rasool Allah ( Sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam ) given in the Kutbah Mubarak after the ziyarat of martyrs of Uhud.

Point No.2
Also note there was pulpit ( Mimber ) which was carried and there was speech biyan given by Huzoor e kareem ( Sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam ) and many Sahaba-e-Ikhram Rizwan allahi thaalah alaiheem ajmaeens were present in this mubarak occasion.

Point No.3
From these hadiths mubaraks of muslim shareef and bukhari Shareef it is clear that the urs e shareef of awliyas of the ummah which is also celebrated every year and biyans kept in the urs e shareef and people gathering etc is the sunnah of  beloved prophet Hazrat Syedina Muhammadur Rasool Allah ( Sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam ) and sahabas.
Also point to be noted is that the mazar e shareefs of  martyrs were visited every year on the particular day of martyrdom. Thus Urs e shareef of awliyas is the sunnah. Lastly Huzoor e kareem Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam also

Point No.4
The Prophet went out and offered the funeral prayer for the martyrs of the (battle of) Uhud and then ascended the pulpit and said, “I am your predecessor and I am a witness against you. By Allah, I am now looking at my Tank-lake (Al-Kauthar) and I have been given the keys of the treasures of the earth (or the keys of the earth). 

Now the Question arises here and Important Conclusion :
When beloved prophet hazrat syedina muhammadur rasool allah ( sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam ) had announced and declared that there will be no shirk in my ummah and I fear only my ummah may fall in duniya. Is it right that now in the ummah muslims are blaming other muslims brothers as shirk doers. From here we can conclude that these people who are blaming other people as shirk doers are going agains the declaration and the wordings of the beloved prophet hazrat Syedina Muhammadur Rasool Allah ( Sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam ). It is a gravesin and haram to patch any muslim as shirk doer from these hadith e mubaraks of Kutbas of Uhud.

to both dead and live ones.then he appeared in MIMBAR and said: i am your
leader,and i am witness over you,our place for meeting is HAUZ-E-KAUTHAR
and i am seeing hauz-e-kauthar from here and i have no fear about you
that after me you will fall in SHIRK but i fear you will fall in
WORLDLY LOVE.uqbah(RadiAllahu anhu) furthur said that day i saw prophet for last

Narrator: Uqbah bin aami(RadiAllahu anhu)

Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم said : i have no fear that you people will fall in SHIRK but
i fear that you will be surrender yourself in love of WORLD and will
fight among yourselves and die like it has done by people before you.

Narrated ‘Uqba bin ‘Amir:
The Prophet went out and offered the funeral prayer for the martyrs of the (battle of) Uhud and then ascended the pulpit and said, “I am your predecessor and I am a witness against you. By Allah, I am now looking at my Tank-lake (Al-Kauthar) and I have been given the keys of the treasures of the earth (or the keys of the earth). By Allah! I am not afraid that after me you will worship others besides Allah, but I am afraid that you will start competing for (the pleasures of) this world.”

(Bukhari :: Book 8 :: Volume 76 :: Hadith 434 )

Now a days People call respecting graves as worship while Prophet صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم had clearly stated that He صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم has no fear of Shirk from this ummah:

’’حضرت عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے شہداءِ اُحد پر (دوبارہ) آٹھ سال بعد اس طرح نماز پڑھی گویا زندوں اور مُردوں کو الوداع کہہ رہے ہوں۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم منبر پر جلوہ افروز ہوئے اور فرمایا : میں تمہارا پیش رو ہوں، میں تمہارے اُوپر گواہ ہوں، ہماری ملاقات کی جگہ حوضِ کوثر ہے اور میں اس جگہ سے حوضِ کوثر کو دیکھ رہا ہوں اور مجھے تمہارے متعلق اس بات کا ڈر نہیں ہے کہ تم (میرے بعد) شرک میں مبتلا ہو جاؤ گے بلکہ تمہارے متعلق مجھے دنیاداری کی محبت میں مبتلا ہو جانے کا اندیشہ ہے۔ حضرت عقبہ فرماتے ہیں کہ یہ میرا حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا آخری دیدار تھا (یعنی اس کے بعد جلد ہی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا وصال ہو گیا)۔ ‘‘


البخاري في الصحيح، کتاب : المغازي، باب : غزوة أحد، 4 / 1486، الرقم : 3816،

This hadith is very important, Prophet صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم knew that some fitna creator will

come in this ummah and they will declare visiting respecting Graves and Shrines as

worship and shirk, that is why Prophet صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم while standing near graves and

Shrines of Shuhada-e-Uhad made it clear that He صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم has no fear of shirk

from this Ummah.

’حضرت عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا : بے شک میں تمہارا پیش رو

اور تم پر گواہ ہوں۔ بیشک خدا کی قسم! میں اپنے حوض (کوثر) کو اس وقت بھی دیکھ رہا ہوں اور بیشک مجھے زمین کے خزانوں کی

کنجیاں (یا فرمایا : زمین کی کنجیاں) عطا کر دی گئی ہیں اور خدا کی قسم! مجھے یہ ڈر نہیں کہ میرے بعد تم شرک کرنے لگو گے بلکہ

مجھے ڈر اس بات کا ہے کہ تم دنیا کی محبت میں مبتلا ہو جاؤ گے۔ ‘

Crime/Terrorism Indian Muslim By TwoCircles.net Staff Correspondent, Ahmedabad: A debate between Ahl-e-Hadis and Barelvi sects of Muslims in the border district of Kutch over the issue of whether the eating of sacramental food(niaz) or flesh of an animal slaughtered in gratitude to anyone other than Allah, is allowed in Islam has reached the Gujarat High Court. Though the court has no jurisdiction to decide on it as it has already told the parties verbally to settle it out of court, what the petitioner’s party has prayed is quashing of an FIR registered against Ahl-e-Hadis leaders on charges of promoting enmity between two groups under Sections 153-A and 505 of IPC. The genesis of the dispute lies in some members of the Ahl-e-Hadis sect in Anandsar village of Nakhatrana taluka of Kutch district refusing to eat `niaz’ on the third day after `Yaum-e-Ashura’ in January this year. Those who refused to eat `niaz’ believed in Barelvi traditions till recently. However, they gave up the Barelvi traditions after they came in contact with Ahl-e-Hadis preachers in the district. But the majority of the villagers, who still follow the Barelvi school of thought, did not like the changed behaviour. They tried to force the neo Ahl-e-Hadis people to fall in line by organizing their boycott. This led to a debate between the two sides. But the Ahl-e-Hadis members well-versed in Quranic knowledge put a question to other villagers: “Is it permitted in Islam to eat food consecrated to somebody other than Allah?’’ Ahl-e-Hadis members said they would have no objection to eating `niaz’ if it was allowed by the Quran and Sunnah of the Prohphet. In support of their argument that `niaz’ was not allowed, Ahl-e-Hadis group presented translation of verse no. 173 of Surah Bakra which says: “Allah has made unlawful to you only carrion (dead animal) and blood and the flesh of swine and that over which there has been pronounced the name of some one other than Allah…’’. Another verse quoted by them was verse no.3 of Surah Al-Maidah which translates as: “Forbidden to you are carrion, the flesh of swine, the animal slaughtered in any name other than Allah’s….’’. Explaining the two verses, the Ahl-e-Hadis group argued that the `practice of pronouncing the name of anyone or anything other than Allah and dedicating the animal as an offering, or consecrating the food, to a holy personage, dead or alive’, is totally inappropriate and amounts to showing gratitude to some other being, instead of Allah. As the `niaz’, a food, is dedicated to someone other than Allah, Ahl-e-Hadis members ruled that it was forbidden for eating as per instructions of the two verses of the Holy Quran. Their arguments led to panic in Barelvi camp. They said that if it was not allowed by Quran, why should they eat it. As they had little knowledge of the Quran, 11 of the Barelvis, accompanied with an Ahle-Hadis follower, went to 85-year-old Barelvi spiritual leader Mufti Haji Saiyed Ahmed Shah Bawa and put the question to him. Haji Juma Raima, a follower of the Barelvi sect and representative of the Mufti, told Twocircles.Net that Mufti sahib told Ahl-e-Hadis people clearly that if they did not want to eat `niaz’, they were free. But they should not disturb others. But Ahl-e-Hadis group was not satisfied by the answers of Mufti. They wrote a letter to him saying that his interpretation of the Quranic verses were not proper and that he was misguiding Muslims with regard to worship of shrines, pirs and the dead. In another letter, Maulana Suleman Siddiq of the Ahl-e-Hadis reportedly asked the Mufti to apologise publicly if he has justified the eating of `niaz’ by mistake and “let’s all think of what will happen to us after death’’. The discourses between the two sides were also got published in a local Gujarati daily published from Bhuj. The Barelvis suspected another Ahl-e-Hadis religious leader Ibrahim Bachchu behind it. Feeling that the Ahl-e-Hadis group will not restrain itself, Juma Raima lodged a criminal complaint in Bhuj Police Station against several persons belonging to Ahl-e-Hadis sect, including Maulana Siddiq and Ibrahim Bachchu, levelling charges of promoting enmity between two groups. While Ibrahim Bachchu was arrested and kept in police lock up for more than 24 hours before being let out on bail, Maulana Siddiq is still wanted in the case by the police. Subsequently, Ibrahim Bachchu moved the Gujarat high court seeking quashing of the the FIR. With a total population of 14 lakhs in Kutch district, Muslims account for about 4 lakhs, 90 per cent of them Barelvis, running several schools, hospitals and other institutions as they are financially quite strong.

When a person is bed ridden with any disease or caught in the whirlpool of stringencies or faced with unsurmountable difficulties, he/she prays to Almighty Allah. He/ she seeks the “wasila” of Prophet (PBUH) and some Valiallah “to pray for him/her and ensure early recovery or freedom from fear and adversity. By no chance the uninitiated also does equate Allah with others.The Wahabis do not make any distinction between multi shades of colours in between “white” and “Black”,but paint one stroke with the brush as “shirk” and “biddat”! No Muslim slaughters a goat or calf in any name save that of Allah.How can one be prevented from eating it then? “Niaz” is a wish a person makes to do on the successful fulfilment of his/ her wish! Many believe that with the demise of Prophet Muhamed (PBUH)the era of prophethood has ended.Hence, Allah has created the system of Valiallahs to ensure that satan does not have a free hand and mislead the people.”Vilayath” ( sainthood) is 75% acquired by limitless “nawafil” prayers of the individualand 25% due to the grace of Allah.As per Hadis Sahih Bukhari,Allah avers that for those who have established such close proximity with Him, He becomes his hand, his tongue and his wish. Further, Allah has declared that those who criticise His system of Valiallahs ,He will wage a war against them! Under such circumstances,the Wahabis and the ilk do not recognise Hazrath Shaik Abdul QaderJeelani(R.A) nor Hazrath Moinudeen Chishti (R.A)! But they cite Syed Ahmed Barelvyas (R.A),Mouan Ilyas (R.A)! Why this doube speak and double standard? It is high time a central body of scholars deal with these tricky issues and come to an conclusion.

“Will it also surprise you if I told you that I have read the Bible, the Torah, the Bhagvad Gita, Karl Marx’s The Communist Manifesto and Hitler’s Mein Kampf?”

It was 1991. I’d just quit the University of Karachi and joined a weekly magazine as a feature writer. My office was on the fourth floor in a building on I. I. Chundrigarh Road. I headed down to get myself a pack of cigarettes and a saada-khushbu paan. The moment I stepped out, my way was politely blocked by three young tableeghi jamaat recruits.

“Aslaamulalaikum,” said one of them in a swallowing Arabic accent. “Walaikum,” said I.
“Jinaab,” he said, ever so courteously, “it is time for Asar prayers. Why aren’t you at the mosque?”
“Well, why aren’t you?” I asked.
“We will be, but we are already doing a naik kaam (good deed),” he said.
“I see. What makes you think that I am not doing a naik kaam as well?” I asked, equally politely.
“I’m sure you are,” he said. “Par lagta hai aap namaz kum parh tey hein,” (it seems you do not pray much).
“How do you know that?” I replied, “Kya namaazioon key parr hotay hain?” (Why, do praying people have wings?).
“Janaab, if you don’t want to go to the mosque, why not give some charity to it,” he said, still smiling.
“Charity for a mosque?” said I. “Merey bhai, mosques are all that Zia-ul-Haq ever built in Pakistan. I think you people will please Allah more if you gathered charity for schools and hospitals instead!”
The guy smiled again, “woh tou bohat hain (there are more than enough).
Acha. Yeh kab hooah? (Really? When did that happen?)” I laughed.
He shook his head, smiled, half-closed his eyes and said, “Allah aap ko hidayat dey aur ….”
I interrupted: “… Aur aap ko aqal!”
He didn’t look very pleased, and without shaking my hand, walked away. Not smiling anymore.

It was 1994. I was an assistant editor and columnist for an English daily in Karachi. On a visit to our Lahore office, I took a break to check out a book store at Liberty Market. There I was approached by a kid in his late teens.

“Hello. You are NFP, right?”
“Err… yes.”
“I am Danish.”
“Hello, Danish.”
“I read your stuff,”
“It’s very interesting. Keep it up”
“Thank you, Danish.”
“Okay. Nice meeting you Mr Paracha.”
“Nice meeting you too Danish.”

(Danish turned, paused, and then turned to face me again).
“Mr Paracha?”
“Yes, Mr Danish.”
“Have you read the Quran?”
“Err… yes Danish I have.”
“In English?”
“Yes, Danish, in English.”
“How did it change you?”
“Why Danish, do you think I should change?”
“I was just wondering.”
“I see. Are you surprised that I have read the Quran?”
“Actually, yes.”

“Well, Danish. Will it also surprise you if I told you that I have also read the Bible, the Torah, the Bhagvad Gita, Karl Marx’s The Communist Manifesto and Hitler’s Mein Kampf?”
Danish was still. Almost expressionless. Then chuckled: “Mr NFP. Always trying to be different.”
“Yes, Danish. And so should you,”
I said, handing him a Batman comic.

It was 2002. I was working as a creative group head at an advertising agency and sitting with the Creative Director who was a woman. A young female employee came into her office and complained that a male colleague of hers, a bearded man in his 30s, was constantly advising her to wear a duppata.

The Creative Director kept her cool, sent the lady back to her seat and called the man.

“Why are you going around saying this to women?” she asked him. He remained quiet.

She continued: “I’m sure a lot of people do not like your beard, but has anyone over here ever told you to shave it off?”

The man was shocked. He looked at me and then at the Creative Director. Then a weepy, squeaky “sorry” appeared from deep down his throat.

“End of jihad,” I thought.

It was 2006. I got a call from an agitated man on my cell. He was angry about a few articles of mine.

“How can you defend France’s laws banning hijabs in public schools?” he asked, agitatedly.

“They’ve banned Sikh turbans and the wearing of Christian crosses and the Jewish Star of David as well,” I told him.

“Yes, but the law is really against the Muslims!” he insisted.

“No,” said I. “The law is against exhibiting overt religious symbols in public. France is a secular country and it has every right to do so. What if a European woman appears in a mini-skirt on Zainab Market? You will say, since you are an Islamic republic, you have the right to ban such attire in public, wouldn’t you. I think they tolerate a lot more hijabs and turbans in their country than we can ever tolerate crosses, shorts and skirts in ours!”

“You are just against Islam!” Saying this, he simply dropped the line.

It was 2007. My apartment building had run out of water. I accompanied the building’s President to check the situation. The President called the chowkidar, saying “Yaar, ever since you have come, we have started to have this water problem.”

The President then turned towards me and in all seriousness announced: “Nadeem sahib, this chowkidar of ours does not pray regularly.”

I nodded.

“You know,” the President continued in all earnest, “the chowkidar we had before him used to pray right here over the water tank and ma’shallah we used to have tons of water!”

“Aab-i-zam-zam?” I asked, jokingly.

But the President remained serious. “This guy should start praying here!”

“Right!” said I, slightly irritated. Then turning towards the embarrassed chowkidar I told him, “You better start praying over the water tank. Who knows, this time we might strike oil!”

Zakir Naik :Misinterpreting Ala Hazrat’s (R.A) Fatwa

I would like to bring this to the attention of everyone as it is very important.Dr. Zakir Naik’s website had the following article published defending his views pertaining yazeed paleed:Clarification of Dr.Zakir Naik’s Statement on Yazeed

It is written by Mr. Manzoor Shaikh, administration manager (of the organisation, I suppose).

He goes on to say:

”5. As far as the Ahl-e-sunnat-wal-Jamaat is concerned, inspite of the difference of opinion it is agreed upon that it is permissible to say “May Allah have mercy on him” or “May Allah be pleased with him” for Yazeed. Therefore saying “May Allah be pleased with him” after Yazeed’s name is not Haraam, nor a sin and is not wrong.”

He then provides references of the Fatwas from different Dar-ul-ulooms (listed below) and their image files can be downloaded from here.

He says:

“This has been reconfirmed recently in writing from various Darul Ulooms and Islamic Organisations in India.

Fatawas to clarify and support the above stand.

It is a blatant lie and has not been confirmed by the Dar-ul-Ifta of Bareilly Shareef.

You will clearly read on the 5th line, it says:

“Yazeed Kay Liye Mazkoorah Jumlay Isti’maal karna na jaa’iz-o-haraam hai”

To use the aforementioned sentences for Yazeed is Haraam and impermissible.

Mr. Manzoor Shaikh, either by ignorance or deliberately, have availed the liberty of misrepresenting Aa’lahazrat’s opinion and of Dar-ul-Ifta’s by saying:
